I’d like to take a little time and have a discussion about what inspires me and more importantly – YOU. So please, don’t be shy, lets get to know one another and have conversation about inspiration.

As a photographer, as an artist, I get inspired by…

Travel – seeing and experiencing something new refuels my creative batteries like no other. It makes me feel truly alive.

Music – brings out emotions, old and new, lifts me up and brings me down. Those varying mindsets can lead to some amazing creative ideas.

People – connecting with my clients, with my friends, with random strangers. Connecting and seeing who a person truly is inspires me to capture their personality.

Becoming a Better Artist – chasing after, working hard, all the failure, and striving to become a better artist pushes me. Fuels my creative fire and burns me a little at the same time.

Experimentation – with Polaroid photography, Holga and antique camera’s. Learning each camera’s/film’s quirks has been such a fun adventure.

Milan – who loves me so much there isn’t a word that does it justice.

I get inspired by beautiful light, by my daughters' innocence and sweetness and feistiness, by pretty pictures, and by little successes I achieve along the way as I try to be a better mother, wife, photographer, and person.
