Behind the Scenes
If I’ve said it once, I’ve probably said it a thousand times – I just love what I do. Being a photographer has been a dream come true. The places we’ve traveled to, the adventures and journey that is photography and best of all the people I’ve met and become friends with all circle back to photography. I am so incredibly grateful to each and everyone of you who helped me along the way.
Today on the blog I’m sharing a round up of myself lead photographer, my husband Milan who is the wedding filmmaker guru and our rockstar assistants behind the scenes shooting weddings. These are some of my favorite photos despite them being some of the most unflattering photos ever…of each other (because now it’s become a game to get the silliest pic). I love them so much because it shows how much fun it is working together. That love for what we do really translates into amazing images and experience for our incredible clients.
So with out further adieu…Here are behind the scenes at Rosan Weddings.
Oh, what’s that you say…Oh, it’s my vintage, regular 8 film camera…NBD…
But seriously, Milan shot a wedding on film and I CANNOT wait to reveal it. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen. Stay tuned for that 🙂
You guys can’t see me in these weeds down here riiiiighhht?? Also, I am still picking stickers out of my clothes from doing this…
Most of the funniest shots come from me having either Milan or one of my assistants in a location I may want to photograph to get my settings dialed in. Which somehow typically equals them stretching their arms out..??
Soooo, I wanted a shot under this willow tree except it was crazy windy…here comes Milan and Heather to save the day by holding back branches so the couple didn’t get affected by the wind. Rockstars I tells ya.
For some reason Michelle always ended up with stoic pics standing near trees. I think that might need to be her new band name, Stoic Standing with Trees 🙂
Oh, you know just taking pics while holding grass up like a crazy person…
Stand right here with a sparkler she said, it’ll be fun she said….
I think this is right about when Cam told me he was gonna break his camera if I didn’t stop being so bossy 🙂
Followed by me doing this in the clip below…
I told Cam he was fired. This is his ‘fired face.’
This is my hangry face on the left and then on the right is jubilation that dinner was being served.
How to ruin your second shooters shot…Step one, put your hands in right as they click the shutter. Followed by them quitting on the spot. 🙂
Special thank you to my amazing second shooters!
Shooting weddings would just not be the same nor half as fun than with out you being there!
