”She knew she loved him when ‘home’ went from being a place to being a person.’ E. Leventhal
When I read this quote, it hit me. This is Jacy and Tyler. They started off their journey in life together in a long distance relationship. Tyler was living in San Francisco at the time, while Jacy was up in Seattle. They met through friends and immediately knew that this was something different. Something special. And if you’ve ever had that feeling, you know it hits hard and is life changing. It lead to Jacy moving to San Francisco, making new friends and a new life. But always with her heart in Seattle. Which brings us to their Sodo Park Wedding in Seattle.
For me I always strive to go beyond just pretty pictures. I want to dig deeper. To capture the emotion of the day. To show what it felt like to be there. Jacy and Tyler’s wedding overflowed with so much love and joy. And smile after smile after even bigger smile. We explored the city that is so important to them both even when the limo driver thought we were crazy for going to Pike’s Place Market! And I have to mention their friends and family. If everyone had friends and family like Jacy and Tyler, we would all be so lucky. They even surprised them at their ceremony right after they said, I do, to performing ‘All you need is love’ on kazoos. Kazoos!! I almost fainted from happiness 🙂
Jacy and Tyler I wish you both nothing but a lifetime of happiness together. I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to document your wedding. XOXO
